Yatha launched its second branch in Dwarka sector 4 with a focus on building an infrastructure where the child can express himself freely. We believe that a child’s development cannot be limited to books, toys or just academic learning. At our new preschool in Dwarka, we aim to create a fertile ground where the kids can experiment, try out new things or just have fun reading books.

At our Dwarka school, we have put a a great focus on infrastructure. This includes sufficiently big class rooms which are ventilated with natural sunlight, various labs like Montessori, STEM, LEGO etc for kids to mess around with, large play area, basketball and skating courts to build their physical stamina, and a big library.

Research has shown that kids learn significantly better when they are able to relate to things in a real life as compared to academic learning. This is called experiential learning and some call it activity based learning. However, activity based learning is a very small part of experiential learning. Further, we found that a place like Dwarka which is one of the biggest societies in Asia, lacks a proper Montessori school. Most of the schools in Dwarka are based on traditional form of learning or hybrid form of Montessori and traditional learning.

At Yatha, we are providing a blend of Montessori curriculum and Multiple Intelligence approach. Montessori helps the child to pick and choose the activity he wants to do without following the herd. This helps to build the child’s creativity - under the guidance of the teacher but without following the traditional methods. The Multiple intelligence approach helps to develop the specific intelligence of the child while working on a specific activity. For example, rock climbing helps to build the KINESTHETIC INTELLIGENCE of the child. The intelligence is to enhance children’s ability of movement and doing may it be gross bodily movement, fine bodily movement and hand eye coordination.

The library in Dwarka is a treasure trove of knowledge with over 800+ books on early learning, covering a wide range of subjects - from simple picture books to interactive story books. Our collections provides a strong foundation for kids to build their reading habits, enhance their vocabulary and broader their horizons.
